“Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie,” “20 Days in Mariupol,” and More Take Top Honors at 2023 Critics Choice Documentary Awards

Last month we were thrilled to see so many Sundance Film Festival projects named as nominees for the 2023 Critics Choice Documentary Awards. From nonfiction films shining a light on beloved public figures to hard-hitting looks at global tragedies, Sundance Institute–supported projects took home nine trophies.

It’s clear that Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie struck a chord with the critics, winning in all five categories it was nominated for. The Deepest Breath and 20 Days in Mariupol also landed multiple wins.
