“The Greatest Night in Pop,” “Girls State” Lead 2024 Sundance Institute–Supported Emmy Nominations

With limited-edition summer merch out now and our Early Bird Ticket Sale happening next week, it’s no secret that we’re pretty excited for the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. And while we naturally like to look to the future, this morning we have a great reason to celebrate our Festival alums thanks to the 76th Primetime Emmy Award nominations that just dropped.

Both the 2024 and 2024 editions of the Sundance Film Festival were represented within the documentary categories including nods for Going to Mars: The Nikki Giovanni Project, Beyond Utopia, Girls State, and The Greatest Night in Pop.
