Last night we gathered together to celebrate the influence and legacy of Sundance institute as well as our founder Robert Redford. Old friends, new faces, and shared tables made for a lovely evening highlighting the power of independent cinema and the importance of uplifting new voices with authentic stories to tell.

Throughout the event we handed out awards to Chloé Zhao (Sundance Institute Trailblazer Award Presented by Google), Nia DaCosta (Sundance Institute Vanguard Award Fiction Presented by Acura), Geeta Gandbir (Sundance Institute Vanguard Award Nonfiction Presented by Acura), as well as Ed Harris and Gyula Gazdag (Robert Redford Luminary Award).
