As the year comes to a close, we can feel the invigorating wind sweeping in for awards season. Yesterday, The Gotham Film & Media Institute unveiled the nominations for the 35th annual Gotham Awards and we were honored to see 15 nods to Sundance Institute and Film Festival–supported projects!
Mary Bronstein’s 2025 Festival film If I Had Legs, I’d Kick You topped our list with four nominations for the Rose Byrne–led drama, while four of our nonfiction films are nominated for Best Documentary including My Undesirable Friends: Part I – Last Air in Moscow, which was directly supported by our Catalyst program.
