Sales. Sales for Festival packages, passes and tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. To view sale start times and to enter the sale, go to tickets.festival.sundance.org.

Availability. Quantities are limited. We do not guarantee availability for any customers, as demand can exceed our supply. Unlike our in-person portion of our festival,we do not have waiting lists for sold-out films, and we will not have an additional sale for canceled packages, passes or tickets.  But if for any reason tickets become available, we will immediately put them back online for sale.

Age limit. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase any package, pass or individual ticket.

Viewer discretion. Films are not rated; viewer discretion is advised.

Copyright. Independent filmmakers dream of earning a living now and in the future from their art and craft. Please enjoy this film as it was intended: to be streamed on the Sundance Film Festival digital platform and in in-person venues. Sundance Film Festival takes extensive measures to curtail piracy, including digital (visible) and forensic (invisible) watermarking of each film screened. Cameras and recording devices are strictly prohibited. Further, Sundance Institute cooperates with local, state and federal law enforcement on all piracy related enforcement. Copying copyrighted works can subject you to civil statutory damages of up to $150,000 per work and in some circumstances even felony criminal charges which result in imprisonment. Respect the work and livelihoods of our filmmakers and do not engage in copying, rebroadcasting or distributing this film, which constitute copyright infringement under United States and international copyright laws. 

Purchase limits. Customer limits for purchased tickets, packages and passes  include items for personal use and items bought and gifted to others. The limits are as follows:

• Single tickets: up to 4 single tickets  per screening
• Festival Packages, Day Packages, Award Winners Package and Salt Lake City Package: up to 2 per customer.
  
• Explorer Pass: unlimited

Providing an address. When purchasing, you must provide a billing address for payment and physical address for any shipments (if applicable).

• Using multiple addresses. Purchases will be canceled if we determine that customers are using different email addresses or physical addresses to get around the purchase limits. The address on your ID must match the address you provide at the time of purchase. Do not use a PO box if that is not on your ID. Please do not use a work address for purchase—we have the ability to identify non-residential addresses.

Refunds and exchanges. All general public package, pass and ticket sales are final and nonrefundable. All-Access Passes are partially refundable: If federal, state, or local guidelines mandate closures of in-person spaces due to COVID-19, these passes will be automatically adjusted to an All-Access Full Festival Online Pass and a refund of the difference in price will be issued.

Resales. No resales are permitted. The Sundance Film Festival reserves the right to prohibit any sales during this Festival and in future years to any package, pass or ticket buyer who is identified or has been identified as a ticket reseller. This pertains to resales above, below, or at face value. Resales include unauthorized duplication. Tickets, packages and passes can be remotely invalidated. 

In-person theaters and venues.

• Covid-19: Proof of full vaccination is required for everyone who attends Festival-affiliated events in Utah. Masks are mandatory at all in-person events. The Festival may expand or change our COVID-19 policies at any time to protect the health and safety of our attendees.
• Availability. Overall theater capacity may be limited due to health and safety procedures, and entrance is not guaranteed

• Screening locations. Public screenings are planned for locations nationwide. In-person screenings are subject to change based on health and safety standards or regulations in place at time of Festival. Note: Satellite Screen events are run by the respective venues and attendees will need to abide by each venue’s specific health and safety policies; please contact the specific venue to learn about their terms, conditions, and policies.
• Arrival time. Pass and ticket holders attending public screenings must be in the appropriate line at least 45 minutes before the scheduled start time.
• Forfeiture for Late Arrival. If you are late and a screening has started, you will not be admitted. No exceptions and no refunds.
•  Accessibility. Most theaters have accessible seating options. Please contact the theater ahead of time for further details.
