Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program congratulates Rebecca Cammisa and the documentary film Which Way Home for winning Outstanding Informational Programming-Long Form at the News and Documentary Emmy® Awards, announced on September 27 at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York.

Six years in the making, Which Way Home shows the personal side of immigration through the eyes of children who face harrowing dangers with enormous courage and resourcefulness as they endeavor to make it to the United States. The film was supported with a grant award from the Sundance Documentary Film program in 2003, before going on to receive an Academy Award® nomination for Best Documentary Feature in 2010.

Sundance DFP also congratulates lauded documentary filmmaker and DFP grantee Frederick Wiseman, who received Sundance grant support for his latest film Boxing Gym, and was awarded an Emmy® Award for Lifetime Achievement. A hearty cheers to all our Sundance Institute DFP Emmy Nominees this year including: Kirby Dick for Outrage, Tanaz Eshaghian for Be Like Others, Carl Deal and Tia Lessin for Trouble the Water, and Pamela Yates for The Reckoning.
