Accessibility
At Sundance Institute, we are committed to creating an environment where all community members feel valued and thrive. We aim to reflect inclusion, racial equity, and accessibility across our organization and in all our programs and platforms. This includes, but not limited to, staff, artists, fellows, advisors, patrons, and guests of Sundance Institute.
To support our mission, we have dedicated staff focused on our goal to make all experiences, both in-person and online, as accessible as possible. The Human Resources department includes a year-round Accessibility Manager to address disability inclusion, accessibility, and functional needs. During the Festival, this team grows by an additional full-time seasonal Accessibility Associate Manager.
In addition to our Accessibility team, we have an ad hoc Accessibility Committee which consists of staff from the following departments: Artist Programs, Collab, Corporate, Digital, Industry, Human Resources, and Technical Exhibition. These teams band together to ensure that people with disabilities are afforded the opportunity to acquire the same information, engage in the same interactions, and enjoy the same services of our programs (similar to people without disabilities) in an equally integrated and effective manner.
