These grants aim to provide critical financial support for a discrete activity necessary to advance a project forward at any stage of a film’s life cycle – development, pre-production, production, post-production and distribution. Granting funds should cover the entire cost of the intended activity or the applicant should already have confirmed the gap funding required. Eligible activities include, but are not limited to, requesting support to further development, extend post, attend festivals and forums, hire key creative team members (consulting editors, producers, casting directors, etc.), cover COVID-related costs, or support self-distribution.
