Sara Kiener has spent the past decade supporting, distributing, and finding audiences for independent films. Sara currently oversees distribution strategies at Cinereach where she's championed projects like MATANGI/MAYA/M.I.A., Beach Rats, I Am Not Your Negro, and We the Animals. Prior to Cinereach, Sara was co-founder of Film Presence where she oversaw national theatrical outreach campaigns for movies like 20 Feet from Stardom, Obvious Child, and Citizenfour. The Shawl is her directorial debut.
