Artist Bio

Juan Sebastian Mesa

Juan Sebastian Mesa was born in Medellín, Colombia, in 1989. He is a photographer and co-founder of Monociclo Cine, he holds a degree in audiovisual communications, and he has directed several music and experimental videos. His short film Kalashnikov was selected to screen at numerous film festivals. His first feature film, Los Nadie, won an Audience Award at the 2016 Venice International Film Festival.
