After a painful breakup, Isobel is forced to rent out her spare bedroom in order to generate extra income. With the help of her best friend, Cam, she navigates the most emotionally, sexually, and professionally complicated time of her life—all while hosting a constant stream of unpredictable guests. Mia Lidofsky created, directed, and co-wrote the upcoming comedy series Strangers as part of the 2015 AFI Directing Workshop for Women. Lidofsky cut her teeth directing music videos while working for Beachside Films as a producer and development executive. She and partner Celia Rowlson-Hall recently co-directed the viral #PantsuitPower video, dedicated to HRC.
Celia Rowlson-Hall is a New York–based filmmaker, choreographer, and performer. Her directorial debut, Ma (2015 AFI Fest Breakthrough Audience Award), premiered at the 2015 Venice International Film Festival. Rowlson-Hall was named one of Filmmaker Magazine's “25 New Faces of Independent Film.” She directed episodes of Strangers and co-directed (with Mia Lidofsky) the viral #PantsuitPower video, dedicated to HRC.
