In this superbly crafted CG animation, a drone receives a faint distress call emerging from an unknown asteroid. When it journeys to locate the source of the signal, it ventures into a deep, ancient labyrinth that holds a secret even darker than space itself.

Artist Bio

Philipp Maas

Philipp Maas is a freelance CG generalist based out of Germany. He is also a student at the Filmakademie in Ludwigsburg, with his main focus being computer animation. Prior to VR, he has had over four years of experience in the CG and VFX industry on commercials and short films. Currently, Maas is looking into novel ideas and workflows for VR storytelling.


Dominik Stockhausen

Dominik Stockhausen was born 1988 in Schwabach, Germany. He studied theatre and media studies at the University of Bayreuth, where he was working on various film and theatre productions. Since 2012, he has been a student of animation and visual effects at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. Working as a CG generalist and director, his main focus lies in finding innovative new ways of telling stories.


Alexander Maas

Composer Alexander Maas began studying the piano at the age of six and quickly developed a love for playing film music. He was composer for several short films and wrote the orchestral score for Honor Flight, a feature-length WWII documentary which broke the Guinness world record for the largest film screening in history.
