As she guides herself and her mentally challenged brother through worlds of multiple roles and identities, witches and wizards, she finds the courage to face the demons of her own past and her abusive father's legacy.

Artist Bio

Siqi Song

Born in China, Siqi Song graduated from California Institute of the Arts with an MFA in experimental animation. Song specializes in stop-motion animation. Her animated shorts have won awards at Austin Film Festival and interfilm Berlin and have been shown in numerous film festivals, including the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the Ottawa International Animation Festival, and more. Song is the recipient of the 2018 LAIKA Animation Fellowship and a Film Independent Project Involve fellow.
