Artist Bio

Jonathan David Kane is an independent filmmaker from Miami, Florida. He was cinematographer for Mayer\Leyva's Life & Freaky Times of Uncle Luke, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2012, and he returned to the Festival in 2013 as the producer of #PostModem. He is a member of The Borscht Corp. collective in Miami, and has collaborated on over 40 projects with Borscht that have screened at festivals and museums worldwide. Papa Machete is Kane's documentary directorial debut.
