Lucas Leyva is a writer and filmmaker based in Miami, Florida. His previous Sundance Film Festival short film selections include Life and Freaky Times of Uncle Luke (2012) and #PostModem (2013). One of Filmmaker's "25 New Faces of Independent Film," Leyva is the founder and minister of the interior of the Borscht Corporation and the Borscht Film Festival. His next film is about a speedboat.
Jillian Mayer is an artist and filmmaker living in South Florida. Her videos and performances have been featured internationally at MoMA; Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami; Brooklyn Academy of Music; Bass Museum of Art; Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal; Sundance Film Festival; SXSW Film Festival; and the New York Film Festival. One of Filmmaker's "25 New Faces of Independent Film," she also helps run the Borscht Corporation. Mayer is represented by David Castillo Gallery in Miami.
