Isle of Dogs Behind the Scenes (in Virtual Reality)
This virtual reality experience places the viewer inside the miniature world of Wes Anderson’s upcoming stop-motion animation film. It features a series of “on set” interviews. (With a selection of actors from the cast of Isle of Dogs). All of the actors play dogs in the film, and the interviews feature the animated dog puppets talking as the actors themselves as if between takes, discussing their roles and experiences on the film.
Félix Lajeunesse and Paul Raphaël are award-winning filmmakers and visual artists. After extensive work as directors, the two teamed up to develop 3-D films and multimedia installations. They founded Felix & Paul Studios—a cinematic virtual reality studio that has won two Emmys and showcased work at the Sundance Film Festival, CES, and Cannes Marchés NEXT. Both directors have been featured in the Daring 25 List by Vanity Fair, 30 Execs to Watch by Variety, and AdAge’s Creativity at 50 list.
