Indie Episodic Program 5

I'm Poppy
Join internet sensation Poppy as she enters the real world for the very first time and quickly realizes that fame and fortune come at a price, with secret societies, dangerous fanatics, and a very envious mannequin named Charlotte. We are pleased to debut the first episode of this series, soon to be released on YouTube Red.

After a long separation, two sisters are forced to come together. When the man that once got between them reappears, a triangle emerges and they find themselves in a similar place as they were years before: suffocating, infuriating, and incredibly familiar. Home. Writer/director Diaz Jacobs unfurls this unconventional family drama in the premiere of the pilot episode.

Surreal and darkly comedic vignettes from one young woman's life are the basis for this short-form episodic series. The Festival is excited to premiere three short-form episodes from creators Susane Lee and Andrew Olsen.

The Passage
Phil is a wide-eyed mute on the run from a pagan cult. His scatterbrained ineptitude keeps getting him in trouble, but two agents who’ve been hired to recapture him always seem to be one step behind. The result is a series of misadventures that take the trio around the globe. Directed by Kitao Sakurai (The Eric Andre Show), we present the pilot episode of this aberrant series.
