Artist Bio

Christine Turner

Christine Turner is a filmmaker based in New York. Her feature documentary, Homegoings (about an undertaker in Harlem), premiered at the 2013 Documentary Fortnight at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, and it opened the 26th season of the acclaimed PBS series POV. Most recently, Turner's short drama You Can Go, starring S. Epatha Merkerson, was a selection of the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival and has since been acquired by PBS.
