Artist Bio

Simon Liu

Simon Liu is from Hong Kong and now lives in Brooklyn, U.S.A. His films and 16 mm multiple projections have screened at festivals and institutions globally including the New York, Toronto, Rotterdam, London, Hong Kong, and Edinburgh International Film Festivals, Sundance Film Festival, M+ Museum, Parrish Art Museum, and SFMoMA. Liu is a 2019 Jerome Hill Artist Fellow, is a Cooper Union faculty member, and is currently in post-production on his first feature film, Staffordshire Hoard.
