Artist Bio

Pooja Gurung Bibhusan Basnet

Bibhusan Basnet and Pooja Gurung are based in Kathmandu and have been working together for six years. Their first short film, The Contagious Apparitions of Dambarey Dendrite (2013), screened at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival, the Tampere Film Festival, and the Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur, among others. It also won the Golden Comma for Fiction at the Alpavirama South Asian Short and Documentary Film Festival. Dadyaa is their second short film.
