Danfung Dennis worked as a photojournalist during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and is the founder and CEO of Condition One, a virtual reality company. He directed Hell and Back Again, which premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for a 2012 Academy Award. The New York Times wrote that there is no "filmmaker alive who has the combination of combat experience, bravery, and technical chops to equal Mr. Dennis."
Casey Brown co-founded Condition One in 2010 to pioneer new forms of experimental storytelling in virtual reality. A local of Park City, Utah, she has a background in documentary filmmaking and wildlife conservation.
Phil "Captain 3D" McNally is an animator best known for his work in 3-D film. The BBC described him as a "leading pioneer of 3D animation." McNally is considered to be one of the most experienced stereographers in the world and was hired by Jeffrey Katzenberg at DreamWorks Animation to develop and build their 3-D pipeline. He left the company six years later to pursue VR filmmaking at Condition One.
