Artist Bio

Charlotte Wells

Charlotte “Charlie” Wells is a Scottish director living in New York. Her previous film, Laps, won a Short Film Special Jury Prize for Editing at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and Special Jury Recognition for Narrative Shorts at the SXSW Film Festival. Charlie is currently writing her first feature about a young father and his 11-year-old daughter on vacation at a European holiday resort. She is a 2017 graduate of the MBA/MFA program at NYU.
