Nesanet Teshager Abegaze

Nesanet Teshager Abegaze is an entrepreneur, educator, and experimental filmmaker. Nesanet’s work as the co-owner of Azla Vegan combines her passion for food, community, and storytelling. Nesanet has curated film-related programming at Azla including various screenings, a master class taught by Haile Gerima, and an analog filmmaking workshop with the Echo Park Film Center. Nesanet holds a bachelor’s degree in human biology from Stanford University and a master's in education from UCLA.
