Should I rent a car?

No. Parking does not exist at most theatres and venues. Parking is limited in Park City, and the Festival shuttle buses are the best way to get around town. They offer free and convenient access to all venues and theatres.

How do I get around without a car?

Free shuttles travel frequently between venues. For transportation to and from the airport, click here. For additional route information, go to any Information Booth or shuttle stop, or ask a Festival Insider.

Where do I park if I need a car?

Park at your lodging or at a designated Park and Ride listed below.

The YARD (Park and Ride)
NEW for 2012, The YARD is now the official site of the New Frontier venue. Park here to visit one of the most exciting Festival exhibits. The YARD also offers the easiest access to the Temple Theatre. Remember: There is NO parking at the Temple Theatre. The YARD is a large lot and is easily accessible for patrons going to Eccles Theatre, The MARC , Headquarters, and Prospector; and it's only a short walk to Holiday Village and The Yarrow. $15 cash fee per entry. The free Festival shuttle picks up right in front of The YARD.

China Bridge Parking Structure
The China Bridge Parking Structure is available to Festival patrons for a cash fee. It is located two blocks east of Main Street on Marsac Avenue. Perfect for a quick walk to the Egyptian Theatre, Sundance House, and other Main Street venues. NOTE: This facility is likely to reach capacity.

Smaller Parking Lots in Park City

Monitor Drive Parking Lot
Limited free parking. Monday-Friday, 3:00 p.m. to midnight. All day Saturday. NO PARKING ON SUNDAY. Within walking distance to Eccles Theatre and a short ride to The MARC.

Lots F/G
Limited parking is available. Cash fee per entry. Located on Prospector Avenue just south of Headquarters. It's a short walk to Prospector and Headquarters and a short shuttle ride to Eccles and The MARC.

Located along Highway 224, Temple Theatre does not offer patron parking. Parking on the highway will result in immediate towing. For a convenient parking option, please refer to the new and improved YARD Park and Ride located on Kearns Blvd.

Getting to Sundance Resort

Sundance Resort Shuttle Service

Sundance Resort is a 60-minute drive from Park City. Sundance Resort provides a complimentary shuttle for Resort guests. For Resort shuttle information, call the Sundance Resort concierge at (801) 223-6000.

Sundance Resort Parking

Parking is complimentary to Sundance Film Festival attendees. Early arrival is recommended.

Getting to Salt Lake City and Ogden

Salt Lake City Parking

Rose Wagner Theatre
There is metered parking available around the Rose Wagner Center (free after 6:00 p.m. and on weekends). Parking is available across the street from the Rose Wagner Center. Cash fee per entry.

Broadway Theatres
Parking at the Broadway is located in a garage next to the building on 300 South. If you are attending a film at the Sundance Film Festival, please park on levels four through eight. Bring your ticket to the theatre for validation and receive discounted parking of $1.50.

Tower Theatre
Street parking is available in front of the Tower Theatre or on surrounding streets.

Salt Lake Library Theatre
Parking is available at the Salt Lake Library in the underground garage accessed from eastbound 400 South between 200 and 300 East. Parking in this city-operated facility is free for the first half-hour, then $1.50 per half-hour after that. Any vehicle displaying a disability special group license plate or disability windshield placard may park in the parking garage at Library Square for two hours with no charge. Additional time beyond the two hours is $1.50 per half-hour.

Ogden Parking

Ampco Systems Parking, at 2430 Kiesel Ave, is half a block away from Peery's and offers direct access from the parking garage. Street parking is free after 6:00 p.m.
