Follow Us #Sundance
The Sundance Film Festival happens once a year, but year-round, our artists and audiences join us online to dive into rich conversations about independent film, episodic works, and emerging media forms. In the lead-up to the 2022 Sundance Film Festival, our social media team wanted to offer up a look at how and where you can find the Fest (and the nonprofit Sundance Institute) on your favorite platforms, from Twitter and Instagram to Letterboxd and Clubhouse. Below, learn more about what you can expect to find on each channel as Festival season approaches, and keep an eye on this post — it’s where we’ll be keeping you updated on social takeovers, fun contests, and so much more.

For real-time Festival news (think newly released tickets and live awards coverage), you’re going to want to make sure you’re following our Twitter account at @SundanceFest. This channel also offers year-round updates on Festival projects as they make their journeys from Festival to release.

If you’d like to stay up-to-date on the year-round happenings at the Sundance Institute, you can follow us at @SundanceOrg, where we share news about our artist community along with opportunities for aspiring and emerging artists.

Find us on Instagram at @sundanceorg, the official page of the Festival and the Institute. Year-round, we use this space to celebrate the extraordinary storytellers, projects, and unforgettable characters that make up the Institute’s 40-year history. During the Festival, view our Instagram Stories for behind-the-scenes peeks into the Festival in action, and our feed to see captures of some of 2022’s biggest moments.

On our Facebook page, you can find event pages for the Festival generally, as well as for our Satellite Screens. This is also a great place to watch our various video content series.

Hear from the artists behind some of your favorite Festival films. Join the live conversation (almost) every Thursday at 10 a.m. PT on Clubhouse, and check back here regularly. We’ll soon have more to share about our plans for live Clubhouse sessions during the 2022 Festival.

Love lists? You’ll love Letterboxd, where you can count off how many Festival features you’ve seen or plan your future viewing, thanks to our carefully curated watchlists.

On YouTube, check out filmmaker conversations from past Festivals, and in December — when our Festival lineup goes live — don’t miss our Meet the Artist series, introducing you to the visionaries behind all of 2022’s must-see projects. During the Festival, tune in here for Daily Recaps, as well as to watch the full conversations that emerge from our official Talks & Events (like the fan-favorite Cinema Café).
