Cartoonist Dash Shaw turns his drawings into live action in his feature debut "The Ruined Cast," which follows the story of a disconnected family thrown into chaos when the scientist father loses the test subject of his experiment. Shaw recently participated in the Feature Film Program's June Directors Lab to advance his craft as he makes the transition from cartoonist to filmmaker.
