Wednesday night marked the third screening of the 2012 Summer Film Series with the feature film Filly Brown. Prior to the screening at Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre, the Spy Hop-produced band YYBS performed. The kids ROCKED the amphitheatre! Over 400 people turned-out for the film. Notably, a large contingent of Latino teenagers attended the screening…and they loved the film!

Last night we screened this film at Canyons Resort. Our notable guests included members of the Utah Advisory Board, Summit County Council, Key Park City Municipal Staff, RAP Tax Board, Restaurant Tax Board…and Festival Staff. The audience of over 200 was treated to an extra special film introduction by Sundance Film Festival Senior Programmer David Courier!

Next up is Bones Brigade on August 1 at Red Butte and August 3 at Park City’s City Park. The screening on August 3 will include a skateboard “jam” competition, art demonstration, and filmmaker Stacy Peralta will give an introduction to his documentary.

We hope you can join us!
