    When: May 9-13, 2014

Film Forward returns to Bosnia & Herzegovina for a second year of film screenings, filmmaker discussions, and workshops. Film Forward, in collaboration with the US Embassy, Sarajevo will tour Sarajevo, Zenica, Zavidovici, Banja Luka, Doboj, and Brcko with filmmakers Kim Mordaunt (director, The Rocket) and Caitrin Rogers (producer, Twenty Feet From Stardom).

The Rocket is a deeply personal story about the determination of a young Laotian boy who has the odds stacked against him, set against the epic backdrop of a war-ravaged country on the brink of huge change. Twenty Feet From Stardom shines a spotlight on the untold true story of the backup singers behind some of the greatest musical legends of the 21st century. These gifted artists span a range of styles, genres, and eras of popular music, but each has a uniquely fascinating story to share of life in the shadows of superstardom.

Other films that will be screening with this program but without filmmaker representatives are: Circles, Dancing In Jaffa, Fruitvale Station, If You Build It, The World Before Her, and Valentine Road.
