The Power of the Whisper in Colombia with Buck Associate Producer Sofia Santana

On Film Forward’s trip to Colombia, Sofia Santana, Associate Producer of Buck, traveled not only with the film she helped create but also to her familial home country.
As a native Spanish speaker and frequent traveler to Colombia, Sofia made audiences feel at home and facilitated conversations about Buck Brannaman, a horse whisperer who overcame difficult circumstances in his own life to embrace a gentler way of existing in the world.
Sofia also visited a horse whisperer in Guatavita, Colombia, who does some work similar to Buck Branaman, with the addition of working with disabled children.
