Our 10-day Festival hosts more than 40,000 people a year and spreads out across four cities: Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and the Sundance Resort. Each city is separated by a short drive (30 to 75 minutes), so make sure to select your screening tickets in the city where you’ll be located for most of the Festival. If you are going to be in Park City, there’s one key to navigating the Festival: use the shuttle! It's free and hits every Festival Theatre and Venue. Plus it’s a great way to meet fellow Festivalgoers.
Should I rent a car?
No. Parking does not exist at most theatres and venues. Parking is limited in Park City, and the FREE and convenient Festival shuttle is the best way to get around town.
How do I get around without a car?
The free shuttle travels frequently between venues. Once you arrive at the Festival, friendly volunteers will be ready to assist you at info booth locations and shuttle stops.

• The YARD (Park and Ride)
The YARD, 1251 Kearns Blvd, offers parking and shuttle access to the Temple Theatre. Remember: There is NO parking at the Temple Theatre. The YARD is a large lot and is easily accessible for patrons going to Eccles Theatre, The MARC , Headquarters, and Prospector; and it's only a short walk to Holiday Village and The Yarrow. $15 cash fee per entry. The free Festival shuttle picks up on the corner of Kearns Blvd and Homestake.
• China Bridge Parking Structure
The China Bridge Parking Structure is available to Festival patrons for a cash fee. It is located two blocks east of Main Street on Marsac Avenue. Perfect for a quick walk to the Egyptian Theatre, Sundance House, and other Main Street venues. NOTE: This facility is likely to reach capacity.
• Lots F/G
Located on Prospector Avenue just south of Headquarters. It's a short walk to the Prospector Theatre and Headquarters and a short shuttle ride to Eccles Theatre. Cash Fee per entry.
• Monitor Drive Parking Lot
Limited free parking. Monday-Friday, 3:00 p.m. to midnight. All day Saturday. NO PARKING ON SUNDAY. Within walking distance to Eccles Theatre and a short ride to The MARC.

Parking is complimentary to Sundance Film Festival attendees. Early arrival is recommended.
Salt Lake City Parking (approximately 30 miles and 45 minutes from Park City)
Rose Wagner Theatre
There is metered parking available around the Rose Wagner Center (free after 8:00 p.m. and on weekends). Parking is available across the street from the Rose Wagner Center. Cash fee per entry.
Parking at the Broadway is located in a garage next to the building on 300 South. If you are attending a film at the Sundance Film Festival, please park on levels four through eight and pay for parking at the discounted Sundance Film Festival Rate.
Street parking is available in front of the Tower Theatre or on surrounding streets.
Salt Lake Library Theatre
Parking is available at the Salt Lake Library in the underground garage accessed from eastbound 400 South between 200 and 300 East. Parking in this city-operated facility is free for the first half-hour, then $1.50 per half-hour after that. Any vehicle displaying a disability special group license plate or disability windshield placard may park in the parking garage at Library Square for two hours with no charge. Additional time beyond the two hours is $1.50 per half-hour.
Ogden Parking (approximately 70 miles and 75 minutes from Park City)
Ampco Systems Parking, at 2424 Kiesel Ave, is half a block east from Peery's and offers direct access from the parking garage. Street parking is free after 6:00 p.m.
At Sundance Institute, we believe in the magic of the cinematic experience. Nothing can replace discovering a new filmmaker or movie with a community of independent film lovers. Honoring the craftsmanship of our filmmakers, each of our theatres is outfitted with Dolby Digital Sound and projected with Barco D-Cinema projectors. To see a film or multiple films at one our 15 theatres we recommend using our free Festival shuttle system. Please note: there is no parking at Festival theatres in Park City, so using our free Festival shuttle system is the best way to get around.

Sundance Institute works to make each of its venues physically accessible for all Festivalgoers. All Festival venues and theatres are ADA accessible. Filmmaker Lodge, housed in the historic Elks Building, has access to a Stair-Trac that meets ADA requirements. Advanced notice is recommended for us to provide the best possible service. All patrons—whether credentialed or ticketed—must adhere to the following guidelines posted at each theatre:
- To guarantee admittance, Ticket and eligible Pass Holders must be in the appropriate line at least 15 minutes prior to the film's published start time.
- The use of cameras or other recording equipment is strictly prohibited during the screening.
- Filmgoers should remember to take all personal belongings and litter with them as they exit. Any items left behind may be disposed of.
- The Sundance Film Festival reserves the right to search the personal belongings of any patron inside or around the premises of the theatres.
- By entering the theatre, patrons consent to be photographed/filmed and grant Sundance Institute, its successors - signed parties, carrier stations, network station(s), sponsor(s), advertising agents, and their affiliated entities - the right to record and use their likeness, voice, and name worldwide in perpetuity for any purpose whatsoever. In addition, they release the above parties from any and all liability for loss or damage to person or property while they are at or around the theatre.
- Once inside the theatre, all cell phones and electronic devices must be turned off prior to the introduction of the film.
- All filmgoers agree to comply with all published and stated rules and regulations.
- No babies in arms or strollers are permitted in theatres. Pets, except for service animals, are also not allowed.

Festival business takes place at Headquarters, located in the Park City Marriott. If you're a filmmaker looking for your schedule, a member of the press seeking a press kit on this year's hottest doc, or a Festivalgoer who would like to warm up with coffee while checking email, this is the place to come.
Don't forget to pick up your official Festival merchandise in the Festival Store.

An experiment in Festival presentation, New Frontier is a social and creative space that showcases media installations, multimedia performances, transmedia experiences, panel discussions, and more.
