Theatres & Venues Filmmaker Lodge

Filmmaker Lodge

A casual meeting place and café designed to cultivate dialogue among filmmakers, industry leaders, and the press, the Filmmaker Lodge presents Cinema Café Presented by Chase Sapphire PreferredSM; and At the Lodge, a series of lively panel discussions and conversations on a range of current issues. You'll find everything about documentary and fiction filmmaking, as well as an outreach table with information on services offered by media arts and film industry organizations.

Panels last year looked at topics from The Wide World Of Wit with Mark Duplass (Safety Not Guaranteed, Your Sister’s Sister), to Control Factor with Anthropological Biologist Helen Fisher (author of Why We Love) to Sound Thinking with director of sound design at Skywalker Sound, Randy Thom and sound designer and recording mixer at Skywalker Sound, Kent Sparling. Check back in January to browse all the 2013 events at Filmmaker Lodge.
