Sundance Film Festival Awards & Prizes

God Grew Tired of Us, Run Lola Run, Hoop Dreams, Blood Simple. These are just a sampling of the many wonderful films awarded prizes at the Sundance Film Festival over the past 24 years.

New for 2008, in an effort to draw attention to the screenwriters, cinematographers, and editors in the international arena World Cinema Documentary and Dramatic Competition films are now eligible for the same juried awards as their U.S. counterparts.

The new awards this year include: World Cinema Directing Award: Dramatic, World Cinema Directing Award: Documentary, World Cinema Screenwriting Award, World Cinema Documentary Editing Award, World Cinema Cinematography Award: Dramatic, World Cinema Cinematography Award: Documentary.
