SIO Fine Print
Please note, SIO Festival Pass/Ticket Package requests are not processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the limited number of SIO Passes and Ticket Packages, filling out the online registration form DOES NOT guarantee purchase. If the SIO is unable to accommodate your request, you will be notified by October 1, 2014, so that you will still have the opportunity to register for Public Pass/Package Registration, which ends on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 4:00PM MST.
By completing your SIO online Registration, you are committing to buying a pass/package if your order is approved by the SIO. You SHOULD NOT register your request if you are unsure of your attendance at this time, as SIO Registration IS NOT meant to be used to hold a pass/package for you. If you are approved for your Registration request by the SIO, the credit card you entered on your registration form will be automatically charged. The SIO will ONLY notify you via email if your request cannot be approved.
All times listed on the SIO registration site are MOUNTAIN (MST) time zones, not Pacific (PST) time zones (PST is one hour earlier than MST). SIO regular registration ends on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. MST (3:00 p.m. PST). If you do not submit your application by this deadline, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to purchase the SIO Pass/Package that you want. Any orders processed after this date will be subject to the SIO Late Registration price.
All standard fees apply to SIO purchases (a $10 registration fee and $30 per pass/package handling fee) and are non-refundable.
TRANSFERS: SIO Festival Passes and/or Ticket Packages may be transferred to another employee of the SAME company. There will be a $50.00 fee (per pass/package) applied to name transfer requests—NO EXCEPTIONS. If you need to make a name change, please email email@example.com with your request. DO NOT contact Pass and Package Sales or Customer Service directly. All transfer requests MUST be received no later than December 5, 2014.
CANCELLATIONS: SIO Festival Passes and/or Ticket Packages may be cancelled. There will be a 20% cancellation fee applied to all cancellation requests—NO EXCEPTIONS. If you need to request a cancellation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. DO NOT contact Pass and Package Sales or Customer Service directly. All cancellation requests MUST be received no later than December 5, 2014.
PAYMENT: ONLY credit cards are accepted for payment of any SIO Festival Pass or Ticket Package (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover).The credit card used for SIO registration will be the same one used for any approved purchases.
SHIPPING: FedEx delivery ($25.00) can ONLY be requested at time of registration. If you did NOT request pre-Fest delivery, you must pick up your Festival Passes and Ticket Packages at the Sundance Industry Office at the Festival Headquarters at the Marriott in the ballroom beginning January 22, 2015. Please allow ample time to pick up your Festival Pass or Ticket Package, as you will not be able to pick it up at any of the theatres.
15 MINUTE RULE: To guarantee admittance in public theatres, Ticket Holders and eligible Pass Holders must be in their seats 15 minutes prior to the film's scheduled start time.
PASS PHOTOS: SIO will email you in October to submit a photo for your pass if one is not on file for you. If you do not submit your photo by the requested deadline and you had purchased FedEx delivery, FedEx delivery will automatically be cancelled without a refund and you will be required to have your photo taken on-site during the Festival.
SIO EXPRESS A PASS PURCHASERS: Day One Screenings that take place on January 22, 2015 will not require an RSVP.
RESELLERS: Sundance reserves the right to prohibit any sales during this Festival and in future years to any pass/package/ticket buyer/member of the SIO who is identified or has been identified as a reseller. This pertains to all re-sales above, below, or at face value. Tickets and credentials can be remotely invalidated.
TICKET SELECTION: All times for any SIO Ticket Package selections are randomly assigned by computer. You may not contact the SIO or Festival Pass and Package Sales/Registration/Customer Service to request an earlier/better time.
APPROVE SENDERS: Add the following emails to your address book or approved senders list to ensure that all emails will reach you and not be filtered out by spam blockers: email@example.com, FestivalTickets@sundance.org, FestivalRegistration@sundance.org, Customerservice@sundance.org, Shipping@sundance.org. The Sundance Film Festival and SIO Office are not responsible for emails not received due to spam blockers.
