A hunter is struck by a flying object as it falls to Earth, setting off a chain reaction that reveals humanity's stupidity and greed.

Leslie Ali - Born in Los Angeles, Leslie Ali went to Georgetown University as an undergraduate and then skipped law school to make ads. She has won numerous national and international advertising awards (including a Cannes Lion) for her work in agencies across the world. In 2000, she took a break from advertising to attend NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and study film. She then began her directing career in London. The Object is her fourth short and was commissioned by Film London’s PULSE production scheme. The Object brought Ali together with producer/partner Isibeal Balance, and the two are embarking on a feature-length project next.
