Locals-Only Festival Passes and Ticket Packages are only available to Utah residents. Locals-Only Festival Passes grant admission without the need to pre-select films and Ticket Packages provide Utahns with the opportunity to select screening tickets, based upon availability, prior to individual tickets going on sale.

Purchase Dates (In-Person): January 5, 2008 to January 6, 2008.
Ticket sales for Local Utah residents 18 and older will take place in person at the Main Box Offices the weekend of January 5-6, 2008 (prior to going on sale to the general public). Registration is FREE and is divided between Park City and Salt Lake City (Please note, you will be required to present your Utah Driver's License or a Utah utility bill accompanied by a legal photo ID at the time of purchase). Ogden and the Sundance Resort will not require registration, but will also offer local ticket sales the same weekend for screenings at their locations only. Purchasers in Park City and Salt Lake City may obtain tickets to screenings in all locations.
In Salt Lake City or Park City:
Online Locals-Only Ticket registration will occur from December 3 to December 14, 2007. Registration does not guarantee a timeslot or ticket availability. Sales dates and times are randomly assigned by a computer at the end of the registration period. Your assigned date may be either January 5 (Saturday) or January 6 (Sunday) and will be emailed to you on December 17. You will be required to purchase your tickets in person during your half-hour timeslot at either the Park City Main Box Office or the Salt Lake City Main Box Office. Locals Individual Ticket purchases outside of assigned half-hour timeslots are not permitted.
Tickets are $15 each.
You may purchase a maximum of 20 tickets, with a limit of four tickets per screening.
Select the correct registration (Park City or Salt Lake City). Purchase times at the Park City Main Box Office will be reserved for those residents who live in the following zip codes: 84017, 84024, 84032, 84033, 84036, 84049, 84055, 84060, 84061, 84068, 84082, 84098 (a valid Utah driver's license or a legal photo ID accompanied by a Utah utility bill are required to prove residency). If you register for the Summit County Locals timeslots, but cannot show proof of residency in the valid zip codes, you will not be allowed to buy tickets during Locals Weekend in Park City. Another timeslot in Salt Lake City will not be provided.
If you do not have a Utah drivers' license, you will be required to present a Utah utility bill accompanied with a legal photo ID. The address on your utility bill must match the address on your online registration.
In Ogden (No need to register online!):
Timeslot cards will be distributed at 8 am (MT) on January 5, 2008 to people waiting in queue. The timeslot card will inform you when to return to the Ogden Box Office between 9 am and 6 pm January 5 or 6 to make your purchase. Patrons in Ogden may only purchase tickets to films screening at Ogden Peery's Egyptian Theatre.
Time slot cards will be limited to one per person. You must present a valid Utah ID in-person at the time of purchase.

At the Sundance Resort (No need to register online!):
Simply come to the Sundance Resort Box Office on January 5 or 6, 2008 between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm (MT) to make your purchase. Patrons at the Sundance Resort may only purchase films screening at the Sundance Resort Screening Room.
You must present a valid Utah ID in-person at the time of purchase.
If you do not have a Utah drivers' license, you will be required to present a Utah utility bill accompanied with a legal photo ID.

LOCALS INDIVIDUAL TICKET TERMS
Purchases are limited to Utah residents 18 and older.
Timeslot assignments are non-transferable.
Locals registration will be limited to one registration per person. Your registered address must MATCH the address on the valid Utah ID that you present in-person at the time of purchase in January. P.O. Boxes will not be accepted. If there is a mis-match, you will not be allowed to purchase tickets during Locals weekend.
Sundance reserves the right to cancel any duplicate reservations without notification.
Sundance reserves the right to prohibit any future sales during this festival and in future years to any ticket buyer who is identified as an online auction ticket reseller.

Sundance Institute presents complimentary screenings of award-winning films following the Festival to locals in Salt Lake, Park City, Sundance Resort, and Ogden. Screenings are FREE, but patrons must pick up tickets on a first-come first-served basis. Each Main Box Office (Park City, Salt Lake City, Sundance Resort, and Ogden) will hand out tickets for their local Best of Fest screenings on January 12-13. On the day of show ONLY, any remaining Best of Fest tickets will be distributed at the actual theatre locations (Rose Wagner, Ogden, Eccles, and Sundance Resort). There is a limit of two tickets per person per screening (with a maximum of four tickets total).
