IN ORDER TO PURCHASE A FESTIVAL PASS, TICKET PACKAGE, OR ADVANCE INDIVIDUAL TICKETS YOU MUST FIRST REGISTER ONLINE. YOU MAY ONLY REGISTER ONCE AND DATES/TIMES AND PARTICIPANTS WILL BE RANDOMLY ASSIGNED BY A COMPUTER. THERE IS NO ADVANTAGE TO REGISTERING ON THE FIRST REGISTRATION DAY.

By registering, you are acknowledging that you have read and agreed with all the terms and conditions (the "fine print") published here.
Please see "Important Dates" for registration periods. Registration will begin at 9:00 am Mountain Time on the first day of registration and end at 5:00 pm Mountain Time on the last day of registration. Mountain Time is an hour later than Pacific Time (LA) and two hours earlier than Eastern Time (NY).
There is no advantage to registering on the first day. Timeslot assignment and selection of registrants for purchases are not based on first come, first served registration times.
All registrations must be completed online.
A valid credit card is required for registration. Your card will not be charged unless an additional donation or merchandise purchase is made.
There are no name changes or address changes after initial registration. P.O. boxes will not be accepted as valid addresses.
Limit one registration per person. Duplicate registrations will be cancelled without notification. A "duplicate registration" will be determined by comparing names with other account information.
Additional variations of the same first name (i.e. Bob, Bobby, Robert, Rob, Robby, Robbie, Robin, Bobbin) will be cancelled. Your registration must match the legal name on the ID you present at time of pickup. Fed-Ex deliveries will require a signature and positive proof of ID.
Multiple registrations from the same organization e-mail address (i.e. myname@samecompany.com) will be scrutinized and may be subject to cancellations.
Organizations connected with the film industry should contact sio@sundance.org for Festival Pass/Ticket Package options. Public registrations are primarily meant for public audiences who do not have additional ticketing opportunities.
There are no name changes or address changes after initial registration. P.O. boxes will not be accepted as valid addresses.
Registrants are not guaranteed a purchase timeslot. Timeslots are assigned randomly by a computer. You may receive an e-mail stating that you were not chosen for a purchase time this year.
Registrations are not rolled over. If you failed to be assigned a purchase time during Festival Pass/Ticket Package purchases, you must re-register if you'd like to be selected for individual ticket sales. See "Important Dates" for registration dates and deadlines.
Past participation in previous Sundance festivals as a ticket holder, Festival Pass/Ticket Package buyer, filmmaker, staff member, volunteer or registrant will not guarantee that you will be selected for a purchase time. Selection is dependant upon the number of registrants vs. the number of purchase periods available.
Quantities are limited. Selected participants are not guaranteed specific Festival Pass/Ticket Package or ticket availability at their assigned purchase time. Demand far exceeds our supply.
All registrants will be notified via e-mail whether or not they were selected for a purchase time. See "Important Dates" for when you will be notified via e-mail.
There are no name changes or address changes after initial registration.
Any leftover Festival Passes/Ticket Packages will be offered for open sale online in November. Leftover individual tickets will be offered for sale online and at the Main Box Office beginning January 14, 2008. Tickets will be available online for films screening more than 36 hours in advance. Registration is not required for either of the open online sales.
There will be no open phone sales.
Additional handling fees apply when purchasing Festival Passes/Ticket Packages: $20.00 per Festival Pass/Ticket Package; $1.00 per ticket for individual ticket sales (does not apply when ticket packages are being fulfilled); $10.00 processing fee on all orders; $10.00 additional processing per phone order.
Express delivery is available for $25. Express delivery option is only available at time of purchase. Proof of ID and signature will be required at time of delivery. If photos for Festival Pass credentials are not submitted by the photo deadline, Fed-Ex delivery will be cancelled without refund.
The photo deadline for all picture credentials is December 7, 2007. If a photo is not received by that date, you will have to have your picture taken and your credential created during the festival (long line alert!).
Express Delivery is not available for Locals.
ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
There are no name changes or address changes after initial registration. So be careful if you're registering for your boss. You may get an Express Pass, but she won't.
Sundance reserves the right to prohibit any sales during this festival and in future years to any ticket buyer who is identified or has been identified as a ticket reseller. This pertains to re-sales at above, below or at face value. Tickets and credentials can be remotely invalidated. All theatres will have scanning capabilities in 2008.
Purchases are limited to one Festival Pass/Ticket Package per item type and per festival period. A customer can purchase both an "A" week (Jan.18 - 22) and "B" week (Jan. 23 -28) Festival Pass/Ticket Package, but not 2 Express A passes or an Express A Pass and a Ticket Package A together. A purchase of any "All Week Festival Pass/Ticket Packages (Adrenaline, Film Lover's, SLC Preferred, Locals Quick) exclude the purchase of any additional pass or package.
The Express A Pass is extremely limited and may not be available during the public purchase period.
The Sundance Film Festival does not offer any public group sales options. Please contact corporategiving@sundance.org to learn about sponsorship opportunities. Individuals are also encouraged to learn more about our Patron Circle benefits. Members of the film industry should contact the SIO, sio@sundance.org, for film industry opportunities.
All cancellation requests must be received in writing or via e-mail (no phone calls) and confirmed with the Pass/Package Office by December 7, 2007. There will be a 20% handling fee applied to all cancelled orders.
Festival Pass/Ticket Package Pickup: Patrons who did not select Express Delivery at the time of purchase should pickup their Festival Pass/Ticket Package at the Pass/Package Office - located in the Main Park City Box Office -- beginning January 17, 2008 8 am TO 7 pm (MT) DAILY.
Did we mention that there are no name changes or address changes after initial registration? Registration is still free.

LOCALS: All terms and conditions in the "fine print" above apply to all Locals purchases as well.
LOCALS: Timeslot assignments for the Locals Weekend Sale are non transferable. This includes spouses, roommates, domestic partners, relatives, pets, etc.
LOCALS: Registration will be limited to one registration per person. Your registered address must MATCH the NAME and ADDRESS on the valid Utah ID that you present in-person at the time of purchase in January.
LOCALS: Utah does not allow P.O. Boxes on drivers’ licenses; all registrations with P.O. boxes will be automatically cancelled, including out-of-state P.O boxes.
LOCALS: There are no name changes or address changes after initial registration. Paris Hilton does not live in Murray, UT. We notice these things.
LOCALS: Purchase times at the Park City Main Box Office will be reserved for the residents who live in the following zip codes: 84017, 84024, 84032, 84033, 84036, 84049, 84055, 84060, 84061, 84068, 84082, 84098 (valid Utah Driver's License or legal photo ID and a Utah utility bill required to prove residency). If you register for the Park City Locals timeslots, but cannot show proof of residency in the valid zip codes, you will not be allowed to buy tickets during Locals Weekend in Park City. Another timeslot in Salt Lake City will not be provided.
LOCALS: Wasatch County residents may participate in the Locals Weekend Sale in Park City, but are not eligible to purchase Summit County Only Film Lovers' Ticket Packages.
LOCALS: If you do not have a Utah driver’ s license when you register, there's time to get one! Otherwise, you will be required to present a Utah utility bill accompanied with a valid photo ID. The address on your utility bill must match the address on your online registration.
LOCALS: Purchasers of Student Coupon Booklets must provide their university/college ID at the time of sale.
LOCALS: See the Locals ticket page for more conditions about Locals Weekend Sales.
LOCALS: Any Local identified as a person who offers to buy tickets for out-of-state residents or is solicited by any resellers to buy tickets intended for Locals will be prohibited from all future festival sales. Your tickets will be remotely invalidated and the person presenting the tickets to the ticket-taker may be prohibited from attending the screening.
LOCALS: Out-of state property management firms and timeshare holders are not considered Locals. The Locals options in Park City are a thank-you to the year round residents who are affected daily by the festival preparations, traffic congestion, schedule disruptions, etc. Locals are important to us.
