April was an eventful month for the Theatre Program with a variety of events from a Lab to live performances. Eight theatre projects and 90 participants made the journey to the Canadian Rockies for the Theatre Lab at the Banff Centre, and some of these artists arrived in New York only days later for a photo exhibit and works-in-progress showcase presented by Sundance Institute East Africa. The events have yet to cease this month as the program continues its year-round support of the development of new work for the stage.
