We Need Your Votes!
Sundance Institute has been selected as one of the candidates for funding through Members Project® from American Express and TakePart. You can help us win $200,000 by ensuring that Sundance Institute receives the highest number of votes in the Arts & Culture category on the TakePart website
Sundance Institute alum Elgin James (and his friend Chopper) want you to VOTE for Sundance Institute today in Members Project!
Sundance Institute has been behind such great projects as Precious, Waiting for Superman, Reservoir Dogs, and Spring Awakening. Your votes will help support:
- Discovering new and exciting ways to creatively and financially support independent artists.
- Broadening our international impact on film and theatre artists around the world. Our East African Theatre Lab in Kenya this past July was a huge success!
- Introducing audiences to independent film and theatre through the Sundance Film Festival and may other Sundance Institute programs to ensure that today's most important stories are shared.
All you have to do is register for Members Project and cast one vote for us each week from now until November 21. That's only 5 clicks towards $200,000 for independent artists! Every vote counts and you can take these small steps right now to make certain that original storytelling will always have a voice:
Step 1: Register for free on the TakePart site with a username, password and email where it says "Register to vote."
Step 2: After registering, or logging in if you have already registered, click on the Sundance Institute logo in the Arts & Culture category and then click "vote now" to make it count.
Step 3: Spread the word to your family and friends through email, Facebook, and Twitter! Ask everyone you know to support independent film and theatre by voting for Sundance Institute.
